Here you will see that you can create a brand new project or you can use Quick Add to create a new project, Quick add creates a project using your user's project default template, so all you have to do is enter the name of the new project. (Contact our support dept. if you have any questions on how to set up a user's quick add default template in the LYNX Enterprise program)
To create a new project click on the "File" menu then choose "New (your comapany) Project".
Now the Create a Project form opens on the General tab. Here you first name the project and then add any other information (if any) you want.
The "Filter Data" tab has 10 user defined labels. (these are set up in the LYNX Enterprise program) Label 1 is what
the application uses when you create and work with "Project Filters" Labels 9 and 10 are the labels that show up on
the project browser from at the top. When somone opens a project in the "Browse" menu they will see the project
name at the top, and then the next line under the project would be label 9 (like an address), and then under that
would be label 10. (maybe phone, or location, whatever you want.)
The "Search Field" tab is where you create you own custom search fields. These Fields can be
anything you want, and can have as many values as you want. You can create new fields for this
new project, or you can clone fields from another similar project or template.
To add a new field from scratch click on the "Add" button and then enter the new search field label
(ie. Status:) and click "OK"
Now you will see the new field on the left. To add values to this new field click on the "Add" button
on the left side of the screen.
