LYNX Enterprise requires Microsoft's SQL Server to be installed locally or on a server in order to run. A free version of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express can be obtained from the Microsoft website. Microsoft's SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2000 full versions will also work with LYNX Enterprise. Check with your Network Administrator to see if you need to obtain this software or if your company already has it installed.
There are additional steps necessary to take when installing MS SQL Server to change the Authentication Mode to use both Windows and SQL Authentication. Choose your MS SQL version and follow the additional steps.
