Assign Group Rights

Here there are four catagories of rights. Projects, Photos, Redline, and Photo Lab. If you want the group to have the right to perform one of the functions simply put a check in the box to enable that specific right.


"Projects"    For all rights except "Add" listed under "Projects" the rights only apply to the projects assigned to the group.

Add	Right to create new projects.
Edit	Edit project information like name, contact, project number, etc.
Delete	Allows the group to delete a project.
File Photos	Allows the group to file images from a roll of film into projects assigned to the group.
Add Search Fields	Allows the group to add search fields and search field values to a project.
Import/Export	Allows the group to transfer project and user data from one LYNX Enterprise License to another LYNX Enterprise License. (Note: When exporting the user can only export their assigned projects, however, importing allows the user to import any LYNX data set assigned to their LYNX serial number).
Universal Link	Allows the user to make a saved search into a hyperlink to use internally with other users of LYNX Enterprise.

"Photos"    All of these rights only apply to images in projects assigned to the group.

Add	Allows the group to add images to a project database.
Edit Info	Allows the group to edit photo information, Caption, Notes, Keywords, search fields, etc.
Delete	Allows the group to delete image or images from projects. (Note: When an image is deleted it goes into the project Recycle Bin so it can be brought back into the project if accidentally deleted, in order to permanately delete images you must empty the project rycycle bin).
Copy/Move	Allows the group to copy or move images from one project to another project
Print	Allows the group to print images
Save/Clipboard	Allows the group to export image/s to any location, or allows the user to copy an image to the Windows clipboard in order to paste into other third party applications. (Note: When exporting or copying to the clipboard you have the ability to "burn" the redline layer that is curently loaded on the image into the image you are exporting or copying).
Create Album	Allows the user to create a self running slide show of selected photos.

"Redline"    All of these rights only apply to images in projects assigned to the group.

View	Allows the group to view redline layers that have been created on an image.
Add	Allows the group to create new redline layers on images.
Edit	Allows the group to edit existing redline layers that have been created on images.
Delete	Allows the group to delete redline layers that have been created on images.

"Photo Lab"

Acquire	Allows the group to bring .(download) new images into the LYNX Enterprise system.
View	Allows the group to view rolls of film
Edit Info	Allows the group to annotate photo information, caption, notes, keywords, search fields, etc.
Delete	Allows the group to delete images from within a roll of film in the photo lab.
